Online blood sugar logs One of the most annoying things about having diabetes (for me at least) is having not having to test my blood sugar several times a day, but having to log it. The log book ends up messy and tattered, and I can't really get a bead on how well my sugars are under control just by looking at a paper. I stumbled across www.sugarstats.com last year and I have to say I really like it. I can enter in my blood sugar along with the time of day, and it will track it for me. I can get a 7 day or 30 day average, and I can get a graph of just how well I am doing. I'm using the free version, but I think if you pay you can get even more features. I can truly say that having this tool handy has helped me to remember to actually test and record accurately. As a result, my A1C has actually dropped, and I do give this little tool part of the credit. Boy, how things have progressed since my father had it back in the early 1970s.
